Pet Portrait Payment Plan

A Payment Plan is like a “Layaway” Plan in that you pay instalments on the item you want to purchase. Once 50% of the deposit has collected in payments, Aaminah will make plans to begin your pet portrait.

NO INTEREST

There is no interest when you purchase your art via a Payment Plan. You will have your own customized Payment Plan where we choose the size of the payments and the duration of the plan (6 or 9 months).

PAY VIA STANDING ORDER, CHEQUES OR CASH

You can choose to set up your Payment Plan via standing order, cash or cheques sent in the post. Please be aware that you will be charged a £10.00 Late Fee if the payment arrives more than 7 days after the agreed upon due date. If we receive a bounced payment, we will contact you to resolve this. However, if this is repeated, you will be charged an additional £50.

MONTHLY STATEMENT

When we receive payment each month, we will e-mail you a statement showing the amount you’ve already paid, and the balance due, so you will always know your Payment Plan status.

THE PLAN CAN BE FLEXIBLE

The Payment Plan you agree to is a contract, but it’s a flexible contract. You can always make larger payments to get your artwork sooner, or, if you run into unexpected circumstances, we can change your Payment Plan structure (smaller payments for a couple of months, then larger payments for the remaining months, however the artwork must be paid in full within 6 or 9 months of the start of the contract). We can accommodate most requests, but you MUST contact us and make the request as quickly as possible.  Please contact us if you ever need to change the terms of your Payment Plan. (See “Non-payment and Failure to Communicate” below).

CANCELLATION

If you have initiated a Payment Plan and for some reason, after having made one or more payments, wish to cancel the Payment Plan and receive a refund on payments already made, you may do so.

Before painting begins: There is a £150 cancellation change after 28 days of submitting the form, to cover preliminary mock-ups, customer emails, administration and management of customer commission list.

Once painting begins: the 50% deposit becomes non-refundable due to time and effort spent. The remaining amount is refundable.

Once painting is completed: Aaminah will send emails to you showing the painting stages. Please do tell her if you would like something changed or if something doesn’t look right. You are fully entitled to do so and please know that she will not be offended. However, if you are still not happy with the painting and do not want it, you will not need to pay the remaining 50% of the price. However, the other 50% deposit will not be refunded due to time and effort spent on it. The painting may be resold at the Artists discretion.

NON-PAYMENT AND FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE

If you are unable to make a monthly payment, you must contact us as ASAP. If we do not receive payment, nor hear from you, we will make every effort to contact you to resolve the situation. However, if we receive no payment or communication from you for 60 consecutive days, then the Payment Plan will be terminated and your commission will be cancelled.
